IIJT Partners Meet West

The participants in the meet were Thane, Andheri & Pune COCs  and Karad, Chembur and Jalgaon ATC’s.  The other participants included the Partner Ops team - Mr. Joseph Manickaraj – Manager Partner Ops, Mr. Mahesh Kadam - FSM, Mr. Srikanta Acharya – Division academic manager.

The Head  - Partner Operation – Major Vandana Sharma and the Divisional Head –West, Mr. Babul Saha presided over the meeting.

The meeting started with the West region introduction and welcome message from Mr. Babul Saha.  He then handed over to Mr. Ashok Reddy, MD –Teamlease IIJT.  Mr. Ashok Reddy addressed the gathering on IIJT & TeamLease vision, expectation and value of being in partnership. 

Major Vandana Sharma initiated the round of self-introductions by each participant and requested all to share their views and thoughts in terms of the WOW factors and expectations in the current set up of IIJT as a company.

Each Centre Director and Center Managers shared the WOW factor and the expectations from the TeamLease / IIJT.   There was  a lot of appreciation from the ATC partners on the overall outlook of IIJT after being taken over by Teamlease and support from the Partner Operations and they also shared their expectations with Mr. Ashok who patiently reciprocated to all the queries.

The meeting then proceeded to the Video Conference sessions with the Heads of various Support Departments – Academics, Institutional, CCS, Central Marketing, CST, IT & Placements.

Mr Davuluri Academic Head spoke about IIJT Products, the work in progress on different products. Sharanu, Head IT spoke about IT infrastructure and support and plans ahead.

Major Vandana Sharma, Head Partner Organization shared the Plans for supporting the partners, future plans for partner Organization network, quality, audit and compliance, engagement initiatives and also shared the organizational structure.

Ms Neeti Sharma: Head Institutional services  spoke about the government projects and initiatives being launched/planned pan India and the opportunities for partners to leverage and manage these projects in their locations.

Mr Sharanu, Head IT :Teamlease-IIJT spoke about the innovations and new technology upgrades that are being planned. The partners were happy to note the initiatives.

Ms Suman Srinidhi: Head Customer Service discussed on support being rendered by central customer service desk and insisted that partners utilise this facility to trouble shoot all operational issues and this helps to provide a SLA based mechanism to ensure closure of concerns and feedbacks.

Ms Savita Singh: Head Placements had a very gainful interaction with partners and assured placement support and also spoke on processes being followed religiously to ensure good support and job fairs at partner locations as and when possible.

Mr. Vishal Solanki, Marketing head also join the meet through VC and shared the most happening 13 activities which need follow up at center level so the branding can be done in center vicinity.

Ms. Surabhi, TeamLease, Mumbai presented the overall business perspective from TeamLease side and discussed on areas to leverage on between IIJT and Teamlease network besides other operational insights which was very informative to all.

Jalgaon partner Mr Lathi suggested we organize such partners meet on every quarter.

The meeting concluded with the distribution of Mementos by Major Vandana & Mr. Babul Saha and general wellness wishes with each partner.  The partners expressed their satisfaction on their expectations and have assured their cooperation and support in making IIJT a lead brand in the Education sector.

 TeamLease Services, India’s largest staffing Company and Indian Institute of Job Training (IIJT) organized a seminar on 'Career in Financial Planning' at Hotel Deepa Comforts on Saturday August 6. More than 100 candidates participated in the seminar jointly organized by IIJT and Financial Planning Standards Board India.

Speaking on the occasion Shajan Samuel, divisonal head IIJT said, "There is a potential for around 50,000 financial planners in the market. According to the recent Purchasing index Prepared by Business Intelligent Unit (BIU), Mangalore has shown growth in its purchasing power, currently at a relative index between 0.65-0.80 and considering this as well as the tremendous growth witnessed in the market, we felt the necessity to educate the people of Mangalore on different careers in financial planning."
 
Sanjeeva Mathur, Head-Business Development & Marketing,  Financial Planning Standards Board of India (FPSB) said, "With the growing income levels, Indians need qualified money managers to take care of their finances. The certified financial plannercm certification equips a professional to develop technical skills and be able to identify client needs, quantitatively and accurately, and satisfy them through a comprehensive solution, rather than a product sale. Further, to the consumers, the title of CFPCM professional instantly reflects the skill sets and the commitment levels of the title holder to the profession and the compliance to strong code of ethics."
 
Neeti Trivedi, CFP, spoke about the value of being a certified financial planner. Air Vice-Marshal KR Karnik (Retd), director, Justice KS Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte, was the guest of honour.

MANIPAL: Manipal Institute of Management, Manipal (MIM) of Manipal University, has organized a unique session on Opportunities in Skills and Power to Empower at Manipal on Wednesday. 

Bhairavijani, executive director of India@75, Sandeep Kirplani, project manager at India@75, Dipra Mukhopadhay, analyst from National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) have interacted with B-School students. The session started with a brief on India@75 and its relevance to the skills agenda of India, Role of National Skills Development Corporation in promoting business opportunities within the skills of eco-system. 

The students at Manipal Institute of Management(MIM) were given an opportunity to develop innovative business plans which would be later recognized by the corporation. The organizers said India@75 is a grassroots and path-breaking initiative of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for realizing the dream of sustainable, inclusive and developed India by year 2022, when India completes 75 years of Independence. Late C K Prahalad, (1941-2010), management guru and professor of Corporate Strategy at the Stephen M Ross School of business in the University of Michigan was the inspirational force behind the India@75 initiative. 

India@75's agenda has found a wide acceptance, including the vision to skill 500 million people by year 2022 by the Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh. India@75 and NSDC are co-organizing a Vocational Skills Enterprise Plan Competition focused on encouraging innovative and implementable business solutions. 

The Indian School of Business (ISB) is the knowledge partner; and Ernst & Young is the process partner for the competition. MIM team told the media persons that this was the fourth interactive session which Manipal Institute of Management had organized under the guest lecture series where the corporates interact with the future managers of the country.

IIJT presents Seminar on India Today and Tomorrow at S.S. Shasun Jain College of Arts, Chennai.

IIJT conducted a seminar at S.S.Shasun Jain College of Arts & Science by Mr. Shajan Samuel, Division Head-South, IIJT. The topic was-“India Today & Tomorrow “. This was informed to the students by placing the poster in the notice board

To begin with, the college Dean Ms. Padma received Mr. Shajan with a one to one discussion, The seminar begin with the felicitation of  The  Chief Guest with a Bouquet and a memento followed by the prayer and welcome speech. The seminar was attended by 112  U.G students.



The seminar began with a quiz, followed by Mr. Shajan speaking to students on the topic which proved to be an eye opener for the and generated a huge response as it was an eye opener for many students. The topic took the students through on what the future hold for them and one should strive to build a great India. The seminar generated 93% positive responses from the topic. Students acknowledged the speech and also gave a very positive feedback.
